Here at Sandy Lane Primary School we understand the struggles that work, home life and school commitments can bring. To help support our parents & carers, we offer our very own out of school child care service to meet your needs. Bright Sparks is a Before & After school club which is based on the school site. Offering a fun, safe and warm environment where the children can play.
Our Childcare Service About us Bright Sparks first opened its doors in September 1999 in the local church. In September 2019, Sandy Lane Primary School took ownership of the club, to merge with their own out of school provision, extending the times available and the service if offered. The club became Bright Sparks @ Sandy Lane.
Our Services Breakfast Club
Our breakfast club offers a wide variety of breakfasts including, toast, waffles, croissants, pancakes (sometimes homemade!) a variety of cereals and refreshments. The children have access to a wide variety of play activities to keep them entertained before they start school.
After School Club
Our after school club begins as the school day ends. The children are provided a snacks/light meal and refreshments to keep them going until they get home. The children have access to a variety of activities they can participate in at their leisure, or they can simply relax, read a book or watch a film. The choice is theirs.
Opening Time Breakfast Club
7.30am to 8.45am 8.00am to 8.45am Breakfast is included for both sessions.
Please note: Breakfast is served until 8.30am
After School Club
3.15pm to 4.00pm* 3.15pm to 4.30pm** 3.15pm to 5.45pm
Please check the website for up to date price details. All sessions are charged at per session, per child. A discount of 10% is given to siblings.
How to register.
We use an online booking system to register all children and take bookings.
