Our EYFS and KS1 children recently enjoyed an exciting visit from officers from West Yorkshire Police, who came to talk about their important role in the community.
During the visit, the children learned about what police officers do each day and asked lots of thoughtful questions about their jobs. They also had the chance to dress up as police officers, explore a real police van, and find out how animals can help the police in their work.
The officers also spoke to the children about road safety and explained how they can contact the police if they ever need help.
It was a fantastic experience for the children, helping them learn more about the people who work to keep our communities safe.
Thank you to West Yorkshire Police for taking the time to visit and share their knowledge with our pupils.
